As inexperienced horticulturists the Hedgeberry garden keeps us busy throughout the year as we strive for the good life. Free range chickens eye seedlings emerging from our veg patch. Mixed hedging has taken root and a wildflower verge is full of promise as we renovate a neglected path to create a wildlife haven. As we learn through trial and error we will share our experiences - everything from cooking compost, caring for tools and deterring pests, plus seasonal nature notes as we explore our surroundings.

The writing room
The Writing Room is an exploration of the creative process. From concept, mind maps, bum on seat training and motivational exercises, alongside pitch letters and tackling the dreaded synopsis. But it is not all about getting published. Writing is a tonic in itself and together we will discover the joy it can bring to everyday life.
